Artists Use Text as an Element
Due: Monday, November 27th *art will be hung by the end of the day*
Challenge: Design a work of art that incorporates words, letters, or text to create a meaningful visual experience.
Middle School Rules ***Middle Schoolers, place your art in the appropriate bin (black milk crate by the Art Trading Wall bulletin board) in the art room or in the labeled drawer by Mrs. O'Conner's desk when walking in the school (across from the cafeteria) on or before the due date.*** ***Middle School students will receive extra credit.*** ***Middle School students will receive an extra raffle entry entered by Mrs. Green when their work is submitted.*** ***Middle School students are NOT required to put their name on their work. You can place your name/grade on a sticky note and I'll remove it before it is hung. There's something fun about mystery artists...just make sure Mrs. Green knows it's yours. Of course, feel free to put your name on your work if you'd like people to know it's yours. ***
Elementary School Rules ***Elementary students, place your art in the labeled drawer by Mrs. O'Conner's desk when walking in the school (across from the cafeteria) or give to a Middle School sibling to turn in for you on or before the due date.*** ***Elementary students will have their artwork showcased alongside the Middle Schooler's work in the 6th grade hallway.*** ***Put your name/grade on the back of your work and sign the front of your work if you'd like (optional)***
